Gender Data for Healthcare Professional Associations
An engaging online course dedicated to advancing gender equity using data
This course was developed as part of the FIGO LDI:REACH programme and is specifically tailored for FIGO members. It focuses on the use of gender-disaggregated data to identify and address gender inequities within member societies, ultimately aiming to improve outcomes for both clinicians and patients.
Gender Data for Healthcare Professional Associations has been designed to build knowledge and provide foundational information for those with and without pre-existing knowledge. It links good data management practices with gender equity opportunities through case studies, evidence-based examples, reflective exercises, interactive quizzes and more.
The course has three primary learning objectives:
Learners who complete the course will receive a certificate of completion – recognising their dedication to advancing gender equity and strengthening their skills in using data to drive meaningful change in healthcare.
